Company Introduction
Shanghai Transportation Electric Appliance Factory, founded in 1951, was jointly established in November 1988 as Shanghai Industrial Transportation Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shangshi Transportation). The share ratio of both investors is: Huayu Automotive System Co., Ltd. accounts for 70%; Shangshi Automobile Development Co., Ltd. accounts for 30%. On the basis of Shangshi Transportation, through joint ventures, Shanghai Valeo Automotive Motor Wiper System Co., Ltd., Shanghai Brose Auto Parts Co., Ltd., Shanghai Entan Huaqi Door System Co., Ltd., Shanghai Lear Industrial Transportation Auto Parts Co., Ltd., Shanghai Arwen Meichi Auto Parts Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Shenhua Auto Electronics Co., Ltd. 6 joint ventures. The company and its joint ventures have 1935 employees with annual sales of 2.96 billion yuan.
Project background:
At the beginning of 2021, under the overall strategic planning of SAIC Group, Shanghai Real Transportation and Yanfeng Company took the step of deep integration. In line with the purpose of collaborative change and sustainable innovation, the manufacturing center has opened a new round of logistics digital transformation with the window shaker division as a pilot. Since the project entered the research stage, planners are facing great challenges. First, there are more than 300 kinds of transportation products, with different packaging and different production modes. There are a large number of assembly lines and it is difficult to cover all of them. Second, the Shangshi Transportation Factory was originally built and needs to be transformed with the hardware environment of the original factory without affecting normal production.
Project Objectives:
- Get through the supply chain, which includes the full barcode management of the loading list, pallet list and packing list from the purchase order, to the full coverage business process reengineering of the full logistics link of the entry logistics and the factory logistics;
- Bar code scanning technology is adopted for all processes of warehousing, quality inspection, shelving, goods picking, delivery, finished product reporting, short barge, warehousing, shelving, goods picking and delivery, so as to standardize the improvement of warehouse control capability of all logistics business processes;
- Establish abc classification cycle inventory managed by the system, provide systematic guarantee for the timeliness and accuracy of inventory, liberate the working hours of material account and warehouse keeper, and transfer the surplus human resources to the more effective warehouse control of enterprise cost control;
- Big data analysis optimizes inventory, optimizes picking strategies, conducts labor competitions, and uses systematic analysis data for positive incentives.
Project benefits:
Focusing on the material characteristics and production mode of window shaker products, combined with the cloud-native WMS system, a "business super mode" production pull collaboration scheme has been innovated. The successful implementation of the project has brought remarkable results in many aspects:
