As a leader in China's clothing e-commerce and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Semir Apparel, Semir E-commerce has established an adult clothing system with Semir as the core and a children's clothing system layout with Balabala as the core after ten years of development, and has gradually formed a multi-brand, multi-channel and multi-mode business strategy, becoming an important engine business of Semir Apparel. Semir (Jiaxing) Logistics Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Semir Logistics") provides supply chain warehousing services for Semir e-commerce operators with a professional team.

Semir logistics services in the supply, sales, after-sales, finance and other departments, at the same time with external customers, suppliers, logistics service providers between the multi-party collaboration. Semir's e-commerce business volume has been doubling year after year, and the volume of logistics and transportation services has increased accordingly, posing new challenges and requirements for Semir's logistics processing business and service guarantee.

On-line management of the whole process of transportation business

As early as 2022, Semir Logistics cooperated with Kejian Software, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dongyin, and successfully launched the first phase of TMS transportation management system, realizing intensive and online management of e-commerce logistics business (mainly in Jiaxing, with emphasis on To C business), thus effectively supporting logistics business, strengthening coordination with various departments and supply chains, optimizing transportation costs, serving major e-commerce platforms, and improving the digital level of logistics.

Based on the good cooperation foundation of the first phase of the project, Sema once again chose Kejian and officially launched the second phase of TMS transportation management system project in July this year, aiming to realize the management of global transportation business (with emphasis on Wenzhou offline To B business) with TMS system, visualization of routing in-transit status, standardization and informatization of cost accounting, removal of manual processing in performance appraisal and monitoring management, and online management of the whole transportation business process.

During the implementation of the second phase of the project, Semir Logistics and Kejian will continue to explore new technologies and methods to adapt to the changing market needs. Semir Logistics expects to achieve the following goals through Kejian TMS Cloud:

1. Global transportation business management

Incorporate To B business into TMS system management, realize the digital management of the whole process from order receipt to goods delivery, covering all transportation modes and regions.

2. Visualization of routing status

Through the system to achieve real-time tracking of goods in transit status, improve logistics transparency, reduce the risk of information asymmetry.

3. Standardization of cost accounting

Establish a unified cost accounting standard, simplify the cost management process, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of accounting.

4. Informatization of performance appraisal

Using system data for performance analysis, to achieve quantitative assessment of logistics service providers to ensure service quality.

5. Automated monitoring and management

Through the system to achieve real-time tracking of goods in transit status, improve logistics transparency, reduce the risk of information asymmetry.

6, Data-Driven Decision Making

Using the large amount of transportation data collected, in-depth analysis is carried out to provide data support for the strategic decision-making of Semir logistics.

On August 16, Semir held an annual service provider exchange meeting in Jiaxing, Zhejiang. Kojian Software, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dongyin, was invited to attend as a partner. The theme of this exchange meeting is "go hand in hand, win-win future", which is highly consistent with our vision of cooperation. Semir and Kejian have been working together on the first phase of TMS system project since 2022 and have achieved better than expected results. Both sides agree that the deepening cooperation of the second phase of TMS system project can further promote the digital transformation of Semir logistics and improve the efficiency and response speed of the overall supply chain.
